In 1994 Current Electric became the first electrical contractor on the West Coast to qualify and become a certified HomeWorks dealer. Our participation was key in the acceptance of other electrical contractors being allowed access to this new product.

Our participation has included membership on the Lutron Residential Systems Advisory Council in 1996 and 1997, Lutron Elite Dealer status for five straight years and four of those years we have been the West Coast Lutron Residential Product sales leaders. We have also participated in the Pacific Design Center Idea House three out of four years as the Lutron Systems Installers and preferred dealer.

While serving in the Lutron Residential Systems Advisory Council our president, Harry Grace, was one of a select few contributing dealer members in the development of the newly released HomeWorks Interactive processor.

Our experience in the customer interface and the simplification of controls and integration has been the cornerstone of our continued success. Simplicity, elegance, and efficiency are the trademarks of our systems installations.

Systems uniformity is essential to comfortable use. Standardization and the use personalized consumer reference tools created by our Technology Services department make homeowners and their guests comfortable in the systems we create.

We have been involved in over two dozen HomeWorks projects in the greater Los Angeles area. The majority of these projects were designed and engineered in house by our factory-trained staff.

Current Electric has maintained an in house training system since 1996 and has conducted numerous training and simulation vignettes to ensure the highest level of customer satisfaction and reliability. We are presently involved in one of the first and largest HomeWorks Interactive systems in the country. We have been Gamma testing the HomeWorks Interactive processor since its earliest release in November of 1998.

Our desire to serve our customers to the fullest has lead us to even greater levels of integration than Lutron HomeWorks alone could provide.

When challenged with a historic multi acre estate renovation in Beverly Hills the control requirements exceeded the extent of Lutron HomeWorks’ range. At that juncture we began to integrate Lutron Commercial products with Lutron HomeWorks and other control systems including AMX and Phast to provide wireless and Graphical User Interfaces to facilitate the complex requirements of it’s systems.

These additional technology resources continue to guarantee Current Electric as the leader in electrical systems integration and consumer comfort and reliability.
